Casino - Bonalbo Line

Construction for the line was started during the Depression, and the formation was built as far west as Mummulgum. By the advent of the Second World War, construction had been abandoned and never recommenced.

The formation left the main line at Casino at a north-facing junction just to the south of the Richmond River. It turned west and broadly followed the Bruxner highway. The formation is readily visible as far as Piora, with some earthworks visible at Mummulgum.
