| Description: |
Mudgee was a major location on this line. On the up side was the station on an 108m platform. Next to the platform was a long loading bank with goods shed. On the down side was a turntable, coal stage, water tank and a 3-road engine shed. Various other sidings in the yard served local industries.

| Current status: |
The station is in good condition. One section has been leased to a local craft group and FreightCorp has their Mudgee Office in the station building. Mudgee Shire Council is carrying out some maintenance and refurbishment. Yard layout consists of Main Line and Loop (platform road) in service.
